Top Scots singing star Sandi Thom is kicking off Scotland's official year of Homecoming in her own inimitable style with a series of concerts.

Homecoming 2009 is a series of events taking place throughout the year to mark the 250th anniversary of the birth of Scotland's bard Rabbie Burns, and to celebrate the start of this very special year, Sandi and her band will be embarking on a tour around Scotland in Jan/Feb 2009, along with some mystery guests. The star, who features in VisitScotland's Homecoming television and cinema adverts, is appearing at a host of venues from Glasgow to the Isle of Skye.
