A panel of 16 judges also highly commended the Rocpool Reserve in the categories of Scotland's Sexiest Hotel 2006 and the Scottish Hotel Design Award 2006.

Lovingly restored by Adrian and Susan Pieraccini, the Rocpool Reserve is a beautiful retreat for couples wanting a romantic break. Each of the 11 bedrooms are individually designed, some with hot tubs, large baths, double headed showers, some with private balconies where guests can enjoy a meal.

Mrs Pieraccini "It's quite indulgent but we wanted to be different from any other hotel. We have incorporated ideas picked up on our travels and, with our design tastes, put them together and created what we believe is something really special but can be enjoyed at affordable prices."
