Discover hidden coastal treasures

Cruise the Highland Coast to discover a hidden wilderness few are lucky enough to see.

This summer picture yourself 'Zodiacing' (riding in a small powerboat) beneath towering cliffs and imposing stacks that rise vertically from the water, zooming through archways and venturing into a maze of incredible caves that punctuate the Highland coastline.

Encounters with wildlife are a common and memorable experience - puffins nest metres away, flocks of guillemots bob on the water, basking sharks and grey seals pop up beside the kayaks and Zodiacs, and at Sula Sgeir, the unforgettable sight and sound of tens of thousands of gannets fill the air.

Summer days stretch forever in the Highlands, with opportunities on the Isle of Skye for an early morning hike along the foothills. After dinner, the midsummer sun offers long hours of light providing evening opportunities to zodiac or kayak across crystal clear waters, visiting uninhabited islands.

Neighbouring and very accessible, the Outer Hebrides and Northern Isles of Scotland are hidden jewels: wild, glorious places with a bounty of wildlife and remarkable archaeology - all combined with the charm of island life, and of course, the occasional dram of locally stilled whisky to help keep the toes warm!
