Gaelic Film's World Premier at EIFF Seachd ? The Inaccessible Pinnacle will receive its world premiere on the 16th August at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. Directed by Simon Miller and produced by Christopher Young. The film is a collaboration between Gaelic writers, actors, crew, vocalists and musicians to make a film set in modern day Scotland. Seachd is about the power of storytelling and centres on a young boy Angus and his quest for the truth about the death of his parents and his grandfather?s incredible tales of folklore. Shot entirely on the Isle of Skye off the West coast of Scotland, Seachd was completed in 5 weeks and included filming on top of the Inaccessible Pinnacle, a ridged pinnacle that sits on top of Sgurr Dearg, one of the peaks of the famous Cuillin mountain range on the Isle of Skye.
